2020 has been a crazy year, and the biggest question everyone has asked me is, how’d I get here? When Covid-19 hit, my parents and I saw the opportunity for me to start creating my own original music!! I thought to myself, why not try something new and different from what most kids my age are doing. Having had a musical background, my parents supported and helped me find the right people to guide me through the process of creating my own music. Several months ago, we set up a home studio in my bedroom, so I could produce tracks 24/7. It took a couple weeks to get familiar with the professional grade software and equipment, but after that, I started composing about one song every other week. Since I was forced to be inside all the time, I was also very busy learning how to start up my music career and brand myself. It was all hard at the beginning, but I’ve now finally got a grasp on the ins and outs of releasing and promoting music on different streaming platforms. Here I am nearly 6 months later with 4 songs now on Spotify, organic growth on several streaming platforms, and a Vevo music video on YouTube. It’s been a whirlwind and I’m only just beginning.
